The 1/2 inch Triple barbed Elbow Coupling enables coupling two 1/2" (13-16 mm) hose pipe sections.  The standard size of Hose Pipes in the United Kingdom is a half-inch diameter (13-16 mm). The 13mm refers to the inner diameter, and the 16mm refers to the outer diameter of the supply tube/hose. This elbow connector has three barbs, which helps create a watertight connection between two sections of 1/2-inch (13-16mm) hose Pipe / Irrigation tubes at a 90-degree angle. The connector is made from ABS plastic or Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, a common thermoplastic polymer typically used for injection molding applications. This push-fit connector is easy to use and versatile. It can be used in a variety of irrigation applications. It may also be used with Tube Clamps to create a more secure union, especially if you have high water pressure.
