Hozelock Water Timer

Simplify your garden care with our Hozelock 2220 battery-operated Select Controller, a versatile water timer offering automatic and manual watering options.  The preset programs range from weekly to four times daily, automatically ensuring your garden receives optimal hydration. Alternatively, take control with the manual watering function. Whether you prefer using a sprinkler or need an extra watering session, activate the manual mode for up to 60 minutes of watering. 

Automatic Watering.

Turn the dial clockwise to “Start Time" at the desired time (e.g. To start watering each day at 15:00, you must set your watering start time when the exact time is 15:00). The timer has memorised the Start Time, and until it is reset, it will operate every day at this time. However, removing the batteries erases the start time, so only remove them when you need to replace them.  Turn the dial anti-clockwise to any of the 16 programs. The LED light will flash 3 times, and the timer will automatically run the selected program repeatedly until a new option is selected. When a different program is selected, the Start time does not need to be reset.

Manual Watering

You don't need to adjust the Automatic watering dial to water immediately. Press the Water Now button on the front panel. Water will flow for 60 minutes maximum or until it is turned off. The LED will flash green when watering occurs. Note: After 60 minutes, the water shuts off automatically. Automatic watering will then continue as normal unless the dial is turned to the OFF position. Press the Water Now button again at any time, and the valve will close. The LED will stop flashing. The water controller can only be turned on and off 3 times in one minute to protect battery life.
